My beats were school sports, student clubs and local features such as a new Greek place at Cedar Center, the district treasurer closing out 35 years, and the boys soccer team's best season in school history. The Bison notched an important win against Chagrin Falls on Tuesday night, bringing their record to 9-4 (3-3 in CVC).

Since the Tigers beat the Bison by 10 in the second game of the season, this was an important game.

Boys Soccer Scores Historic Season

Coming off an impressive season with a 13-2-1 record (undefeated in conference play) the Bison kicked off the playoffs as the number one seed and defeated Cuyahoga Heights 6-0 in the first round on Oct. 20.

Asian Affinity Club Raises Awareness

BHS students formed an Asian affinity club this fall to raise awareness about Asian cultures.

The founders are juniors Anna Zhao, Sara Ahn, Vivian Myers and Allen Yu as well as sophomores Amy Zhou and Anah Khan.

Boys Soccer Opens Strong With Young Team

The Bison boys soccer team has momentum this season with a strong 5-1-1 record.

One satisfying win was the 2-1 victory against rival Orange on Sept. 8.
